Are They Insured makes official contractor license records easy to check from your phone. We show what the state has on file: license status, insurance and bond, and when we last checked.

We aren't a government agency, a referral service or a review site. We don't rank contractors or take payment from them to be listed.

We pay for the site by selling a weekly expiring-insurance list to insurance agents. That list is built from the same public state records.
